Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Look is golden in color, hazy, with a nice looking white lacing head. Smell is hot with alcohol, wood, honey, wood, and caramel. The taste is very alcoholic, malts, sweetness, and yeast.

bottle at the Ft Wayne locals tasting courtesy of thedm and hotstuff - Pours golden with an ample white head. The aroma is of pale malt with some good citrus notes. It tastes of sweet, citrusy malt with a hint of spice and it’s balanced by a dry finish. The palate is medium to full bodied and bubbly. Excellent Belgian brew.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a yellow orange color with a fairly large sized rocky head. Nice lacing. Nose is apples and perfume. Taste is sugar and marshmallow. I don’t get that many things. Mouthfeel is lively and carbonated and the finish is medium to long in length.

750mL bottle, 2008 bottling. Poured healthy golden with an eggshell head on top.. looked nice. The aroma was strong with pale and caramel malts leading.. spicy peppery esters joined an intricate display of floral notes around.. singed the nostrils a bit. The flavor opened with spicy pepper and floral notes.. sweet middle of aged pale malts and medium-skinned fruits.. finished warm with more spices and great balance. Heavier-bodied with lots of carbonation on the palate.. spicy and engaging.. very good brew!
