750 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse. Gusher! Crystal clear amber color with a medium sized head, good lacing and lazy carbonation. Fruity aroma with notes of citrus, peach, caramel, spice, nuts. Sweet fruity caramel taste with yeast and spice notes. Tongue coating. Full bodied.

Light hazy pale golden beer topped by a thick lacy white head. The head is composed of very large, fluffy bubbles that are surprisingly persistent. Aroma is lovely. Soft fruity/peachy aroma, pale Belgian malts and a light spicy/minty qualities as well. Subtle spiciness with notes of nutmeg, clove, spearmint and a kiss of licorice as well. It’s quite Duvelesque in the nose but with a bit more spiciness. Flavour is lightly fruity with a lovely soft pale maltiness and a fairly prominent pear flavour. There is a soft herbal note and a fairly peppery alcoholic note as well. Quite creamy palate as well. It’s quite subtle and well-balanced. Nice dry finish with a soft spicy/herbal character over a highly fruity bubble gum estery base. Lovely brew.

yellow body with a thick white head that leaves lacing on the glass.the aroma blends up pepper, green apples, oregano, allspice, and belgian yeast.flavor is much of the same with some caramel malts thrown in,and the pepper stands out a bit more.seems slightly over carbonated.

750 ml. bottle shared by Marcus. Flavor is bright malt and hop - and then wham - anise! Fairly strong anise. Hazy white head. Medium body with sharp, almost creamy carbonation. It’s well balanced. Finish is lightly sweet and mildly bitter/anise. Anise has never been so acceptable. Exceptional mouthfeel.

This golden ale poured with a decent off-white head and a floral aroma. The flavor is malty with some spices - peppery and herbal. The alcohol is quite noticeable, but not overwhelming. This is completely different from the Van de Keizer blue.

Very effervescent, hazy gold pour, with a well-sustained, foamy head - strong herbal character hits the nose first, followed by a little earthy must, banana, honey - starts off dry and herbal, becoming almost soapy, with some hop bitterness behind it, and a bit of a peppery quality - gets a bit sweet after this, giving the impression of herb-infused honey - a bit fruity, with some bubble gum-ish character, reminding me somewhat of Juicy Fruit, which is a little bit of a turn off - some alcohol heat and more peppery spice in the finish - it wants to be light and refreshing, but its high alcohol content won’t let it, resulting in a golden ale that is a little too sweet (with a touch too much alcohol) to be completely enjoyable - it ain’t no Blau, but it’s not all bad.
