On tap at the Brick Store. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a huge pillowy white head that stays on as a cap for ages and leaves very good lacing. Light sweet aroma with light fruits and hints of spices on top. There is plenty of Belgian yeast and bubble gum sweetness as well with a bit of citrus. The taste is slightly sweeter than the aroma with lots of light sweetness featuring apples and pears. The Belgian yeast forms a solid backbone with a slightly dry finish with some citrus hops. The moutfeel is fairly light with tons of carbonation and lots of sticky sweetness throughout. This isn’t the biggest or most complex Belgian pale but it’s extremely drinkable. Recommended.

Botella. 2008. Thanks Plovmand. Unclear brown colour. Quite sweet malty aroma with spices and dark fruits. Sweet deep malty and spiced flavour with dark fruits and yeast.

Bottle. Bit hazy golden body with a big creamy head. Sugary malty aroma with some yeasty spices. Very sweet malty flavour with notes of banana, candy, white sugar and yeast. Medium creamy body.

75cl bottle, thanks a lot plovmand for sharing. yellow, white head.aroma is sugar, fruity, yeasty. flavor is yeasty, spicy, very well balanced, strong.

750ml vintage 2008, cloudy honey gold hue, with a fluffy white head, leaving some belgian laces, yeasty, fruity, honeyed pale malt, spicy nose of coriander, with some candied lemon, orange, tangerine peel, pear, green apple esters, with a hint of bready dough, and candi sugar, alcoholic aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, honeyish pale malt, faint corny sweet character, with somenice spicy coriander, candied lemon, orange, marmalade, zesty curaçao flavors, with a hint of flowery hop leafy citrusy, within a candi sugar warmth mouthfeel, with a good carbonation, leading towards a sweet, fruity, orangey, citrusy, warming dry finish.

2008 750ml bottle. Pours a clear light orange color with a 2 finger white head. Aromas of citrus hops and sweet malt. Flavor has sweet caramel malt and medium bitter pine hops, apple, and spice (caraway seeds perhaps) - really a delightful combination. There is a noticeable alcoholic burn at the finish which is not a fatal flaw, but had it been a bit more balanced, this beer would have earned a much higher score from me. Still a fine brew.

bottle thanks to bu11zeye. poured yellow with a white head. aroma was sour with green apple. flavor was predominately alcohol. i dont think i was ready for the strong alchol flavor that was produced from this beast. will have to try again.
