Peach, just a hint of soap and flowers in the aroma. Alcoholic, soapy firm flowery, slightly perfumed hopbitter flavor with some citrus. The soapiness continues in the aftertaste. Not bad overall, but a tad disappointing. MesandSim (5999), London, Greater London, England

Attractive clean blonde colour with a superb white head and excellent condition. Big cakey and yeasty aroma, plenty of spice, loads of pineapple, slight alcohol and some old pub carpets. A little too spicy in the mouth but it’s still pretty good. Typical Het Anker, full on sweet alcohol, bread, yeast and cake with loads of liquorice. So much spice it is almost too much. Alcohol and ginger in the finish. Expected high quality from Het Anker but not as good as the original Keizer.
