Blond color, alcoholic, and just as bad as a strong lager, too much carbonation.

Slightly hazy, golden with a nice head. The aroma has power with sweetness and notes of caramel, fruit and citrus. The flavour has sweetness, notes of spice, yeast, citrus and malt, and the finish is dry.

Botella. 2008. Thanks Plovmand. Unclear brown colour. Quite sweet malty aroma with spices and dark fruits. Sweet deep malty and spiced flavour with dark fruits and yeast.

2008 corked bottle. Pale golden color. Huge foamy head. Peach, just a hint of soap and flowers in the aroma. Alcoholic, soapy firm flowery, slightly perfumed hopbitter flavor with some citrus. The soapiness continues in the aftertaste. Not bad overall, but a tad disappointing.

A Mes rate: Bottle thanks to Reakt.
Attractive clean blonde colour with a superb white head and excellent condition. Big cakey and yeasty aroma, plenty of spice, loads of pineapple, slight alcohol and some old pub carpets. A little too spicy in the mouth but it’s still pretty good. Typical Het Anker, full on sweet alcohol, bread, yeast and cake with loads of liquorice. So much spice it is almost too much. Alcohol and ginger in the finish. Expected high quality from Het Anker but not as good as the original Keizer.
