Very sweet from start to finish, with caramel corn sweetness and peachy esthers meeting the nose. The body is full, almost viscous, with lots of sweet honey, caramel, straw and malt. A nice layer of phenolic yeast adds dimension. Very good. pnista (1008), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 15, 2008 Pours a golden orange with a healthy white head quickly diminishing to a dense white film. The nose is sweet with almost a floral or perfume-like bouquet, heh. Very light malt, not a ton of hops, but a little kick of subtle spice perhaps. Maybe some vanilla? Creamy smooth body, with reasonable substance and carbonation. A sweet beer, with more alcohol than I expected in the taste. Again a little floral, perhaps some spice, maybe even slightly lemony, perhaps that is coriander. A little pepper and lingering warmth. I like this beer, not quite as much as their Cuvee de van de Keizer ajm (976), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Updated: Dec 8, 2008Bottle at Lucky Baldwin’s, Pasadena, CA. Fantastic beer for how light it is. A wonderously full golden flavor with mild fruit, wheat, and even a slight lemony opening. It’s hysterical, but for a split second it begins like a hefeweissen: this doesn’t last, of course. stefanje (960), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Bottle @ Brasserie Het Anker. Pale gold with a quickly dissipating cream head. Sweet and spicy yeast nose, grapefruit, orange and malt, some grassy hop character. Taste is again spicy with citrus, vanilla and sweet candied orange in the finish. Alcohol is noticeable but not overbearing. Much as I expected with Easter in mind, refreshing and crisp. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark

Color opaque yellow with huge whitehead. Aroma totally dominated by honey. TAste is also honey although with some added hops. Rch carbonation. Honey too dominating - there is nothing sweet about Easter although the sweetness might easen our burdens. I haven’t had so much honey in a beer sinceI tasted pure honeybeer more then twenty years ago in Zambia.
