COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Origin: Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor completes the taste pallet of the gamma Carolus-beers. Name: "Hopsinjoor" is a wordplay to for one thing the several hops which were used, and on the other hand the typical character of Mechelen of Gouden Carolus: the figure "opsinjoor" is intertwined with the history of Mechelen (see: www.opsinjoorke.be/Opsinjoorke/opsinjoor.htm). Kind of hops: 4 types of hops are used: Golding, Spalt, Hallertau and Saaz. These hops were fractioned at several times in the cooking process in order to keep a maximum of aroma. Regarding to taste we can say that the beer has a gentle, but nevertheless bitter aftertaste. Gold-yellow colour. Hoppy aroma. 50 IBU / 18.6 Plato

Cloudy gold pour with a thin head. Lots of lace left behind. Creamy mouth. Banana aroma. Taste is a little metallic. Some strange after taste in the yeast.

On sent bien le houblon, belle amertume qui persiste un moment en bouche. Notes d’agrumes. Beau col de mousse.

Interesting Belgium IPA, and this is not a typical American version. Well, it’s a strong ale , to be exact. A burst of citrus, coriander and melon. I?m digging for hops.. its there, but not prominent. Refreshing! Cheers!

Flasche von kevnic2008, vielen Dank! Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Eistee, hopfig, würzig. Geschmack sehr fruchtig, hopfig, würzig, hefig, Citrus, leicht alkoholisch.

Bottle from Sugaya. Yeasty and lightly floral nose, some spice. Thick cloudy and light brownish color, with a 3-cm fluffy ice cream cone head. Fruity, rough harsh peaches and pits, bittering kicks in quickly, earthy, with a touch of pepper in finish along with a little acidity. Medium-heavy body, a bit dry in finish. Quite flavorful. The bittering mix is a bit intense and doesn’t really work so well. Still, this is pretty good.

Şişe @istanbul. Devasa kremamsı beyaz bir köpük, sarı-portakal bulanık bir renk. Koku tatlı, Belçika tripel'i.. Muz, turunçgiller, Çimen.. Tadım tatlı, turunç ve meyve aromaları ile başlıyor ancak bitiriş acılığı yüksek ve kalıcı..

Cloudy golden yellow colour, huge puffy white head. Mostly banana on the nose. A fruity taste, apples, banana and ending in medium grapefruit bitterness, missing some floral notes in both aroma and taste despite the description of the brewer. But nevertheless a very tasteful beer.

Bottle 33cl. Label says that 5 kinds of hops are used. Hazy yellow golden, huge creamy white head, reduces to a large cap that lasts, foamy lacing sticks to the glass till the end; grain, yeast, orange peel, bit banana, grass, floral, citrus; smooth bitter taste, slightly sweet, grainy; full body, creamy texture; fresh dry hop finish. Overall very smooth and balanced beer.
