Hazy pale blond colour, giant light foamy head. Intense hop aroma. Strong, fresh hoppy flavour with plenty of citrus and a slightly dry finish.

750ml brown bottle from The Lighthouse in Manchester. Pours a murky golden-yellow body with a couple inches of off-white rocky head that slowly dissipates leaving some nice lacing. Smells hoppy - grassy and citrussy, spicy, hints of apple, pepper... Tastes citrussy, pithy, spicy, with some grassy hops. Fairly subdued and quite dry. Light bodied with ample carbonation, combined with lack of alcohol presence makes this one dangerously drinkable. Very tasty and very good. Probably the best Belgian IPA I’ve had.

Yellow color, nice white head. Incredibly tasty, starts almost sweet (in the classic Carolus style) and then you get the full hop explosion, with a definetely unusual combination of them. Found it pretty easily bottled in north Italy belgian beer pubs, and now even on draft.

A lovely, frothy, dandelion hued pour with a mountainous rocky foam. Crushed red pepper, almond pastry, soft coriander, pungent clove and a gorgeous mist of floral-herbal hops in the aroma; the spiciness, the sweetness, and the bitterness delicately woven together, and each soft as silk. It couldn’t be further from quiet, though; it’s like a garden of grain and sharp herbs and flowers that’s presently blossoming all at once.
Lemongrass, lavender, and coriander flavor; each with a candied kind of smooth sweetness on it. Fresh grass. Pistachio-leaning malt. Cotton candy. It tends to get somewhat musky with the interaction of herbal-tinted hops, yeasts and its considerable alcohol, and while this is a likable characteristic, it dulls the brightness of the hops somewhat. The sweetness it offers in the middle is quite crispy and autumnal, like lavender and fire-roasted chestnuts, and gloriously dry while still sumptuous in impression. Consistent shades of fruit tend to be soft and sunny; white peaches is what it makes me think of most often.
Full and effervescent texture at first, becoming somewhat more lean toward the finish, where a lovely saffron and floral perfume dryness spreads out, leaving a soft bittersweetness that while dry remains quite flavorful and memorable even long after. Every element is in place for a refreshing, but fulsome and interesting at every turn experience. A new favorite!

Bottle.
A - Hazy golden orange color. Decent sized white foamy head, that went down fairly quick. Nice lacing.
S - Some malt but a good amount of spicy/herbal/earthy hop smell. Also Belgian yeast is mixed in there.
T - First there is some pale malt, which leads into the herbal/earthy flavors as well as some fruity flavors (apple, pear, lemon). Then it finishes with a spiced bitterness. This reminds me of a well hoped BSPA. Hops not as present in the taste as in the smell, but they certainly are there.
M - Light bodied with good carbonation. Slight stickiness to it as well as a slightly drying finish.
D - Really easy to drink, as it is light and goes down easy. The flavors go from malty to juicy to spiced bitter and this makes you want to keep drinking more, in order to repeat the cylce.
Notes: European hops used are apparent as it doesn’t have the same fruitiness from hops as American IPAs and DIPAs, so if you are expecting something similar to one of these, you may be disappointed. I enjoyed it though, as it was was like a BSPA with the added complexity of the multiple hops.

La recordava més llupolada, suposo que el temps de guarda li ha fet aflorar unes notes de mel en nas i un punt més dolç en boca. Igualment continua siguent una cervesa molt ben feta i equilibrada.

Gold colored beer. Slightly hazy and low carbonation. Long lasting white creamy head. Grassy and herbal hop aromas. Tastes nicely bitter. Maybe a bit one dimensional bitter.
