Aroma is almost aggressive with fruit and spice... aniseed? Extraordinary. Flavor follows along the same tracks; plum, herbs, liquorice. No taste of alcohol, but you can really feel the 10.5%. Yeasty finish with a nice warm glow. Habanero (610), Tranbjerg, Denmark Dec 15, 2006 Bottle: Pours dark amber with a large beige head. Nice lacings. Nose dominated by burned malt, caramel and anis. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark fruits, licorice, coffee and brown sugar. Full bodied. Molasses texture. Sweet and alcoholic finish.
