COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

330 ml bottle. BBE 16.05.2014.
Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Lovely aroma of fresh sweet fruits, some hops and spices. Flavour of pale malts, strong sweet fruits, yeast, some hops, spices. Medium bodied, foamy mouthfeel and a long, warming, fruity finish. One fruity Tripel, I must say.

Pours light orange with a medium smooth head. Aroma of fruity hops, grass, malts and some spices. Taste is quite fruity with some grassy hops and malts and hints of spices. Finish is quite bready with some fruitiness. Quite well balanced and tasty tripel.

Shiny golden color with tall frothy white head. Aroma is floreal, citrus, pineapple, belgian yeast. Well balanced beer, not too hoppy. Pleasant dry finish

33 CL bottle. Pours hazy dark straw with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is perfumy florals, tropical fruity hops, with pineapple, mild funk, and rock sugary malt. Tastes dry, floral, hoppy, mild funky, citric, and I even got a mild waft of white chocolate as this warmed. Good stuff.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with huge stable frothy white head. Intense fruit aroma, banana, peach, raspberry, yeast, supplemented by a pepper note. Taste starts yeasty, spicy, frizzy; the carbonation gives way more and more and a sweet fruity taste, mainly banana, takes place, all accompanied by a dry note. Fruityness lasts with a sweetness that could from cherries. A beer to wander off in flavour.

Currently drinking while typing. Upon pouring you are awoken by big aromas of Banana, apricot, honey, malts and faint booze. A beautiful looking brew to look at, a vibrant bubbly white head which is sitting over a slightly misty golden body which catches the light well. Stunning flavours too, big malts and fruitiness, banana and apricot fruits with gentle sugary booze notes too. A lovely dry finish in the long run, great carbonation, maybe a very tiny bit too thin but nothing to ruin the beer. Definately will be buying again, kind of reminds me somehow of a Hoegaarden! Not sure why but it has a familiar aroma to it. Great Tripel!

draft @ redlight redlight. Floral banana notes on the nose with hints of coriander. Pours slightly hazy gold with a thick white head. Floral fruity notes upfront with bready malts with sweet citrus flavors with hints of bubblegum and grassy hops.
