COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

--- Dirty Google traduction :-) Rich, full and fruity. Golden color and thick foam head. Rich malt flavors fruit and yeast complex, as is the taste. Great mouthfeel, this triple have bodie, all its components seem perfectly balanced to give us a triple reference!

Fruity, sparkling and warm Tripel. Very representative of style. A real drinking pleasure.

Keg at LCBF. Very pale yellow, totally clear, slightly sparkling, big foamy white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malt with bubblegum ester. Body is medium, mid-carbonation. Taste is light bready malt, a touch of alcohol, tangy fruit, an estery mustiness and a dry finish.

Bottle at Rootz at the Harbour, Scheveningen. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is Belgian yeast, zesty citrus. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big yeasty, crisp alcoholic light citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This is a big alcoholic beer and it doesn’t let you forget that!

Bottle from Voldby. Pours hazy golden with a good white head. Sweet fruity taste with notes of banana, yeast, hops, alcohol, malts. Medium boby. Lively carbonation. Slight bitter finish that ends up a bit sweet. Great.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with two fingers of fluffy white head diminishing to a thin skim and light spotty lacing. Nose is Belgian yeast bubblegum, cloves and banana, with a little hop bitterness. Taste follows suit, starting sweet and moving to a bitter, peppery finish. Mouth feel is medium to light, with decent sustained carbonation and a bitter, warming finish. Really, really nice Belgian. And for $2.50 a bottle? Unbeatable. Unbelievable! I’d have to say it’s an even better quality-for-price ratio than Leffe! If it weren’t for the fact that the best before was last week, I’d go back to the store and buy out everything they had on the shelf. Mind you, I’m convinced there’s nothing at all wrong with it now. Really, highly recommended.
