In spite of modern brewing technology, this beer is brewed according to ancient traditions. It unites, now as in the past, the best products of our soil: rich barley and fine hops.. It's refined character, with a pure and rich taste, will captivate you. It is matured at length in cellar and bottle, and is guaranteed to be brewed only from pale malts. It is traditionally top-fermented and is 100% pure. The Gouden Carolus Triple has a unique colour and a full flavour due to its well-balanced hopping. To properly savour the Golden Carolus “Triple”, pour slowly in one movement leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle. This beer may be served cool but not chilled: 7-8°C is recommended. In 2002 this beer won the Gold Award in the World Beer Cup, San Diego, USA in the “Triple” category.

Slightly clouded amber hue with decent white creamy head. Orange and yeast nose which is also present in the flavour with malt amd other fruity hints. Not a great deal of after taste, fairly short in the finish.

From the 750 ml. bottle dated 13/04/2015. It pours a handsome looking golden tone with a foamy cream colored head on top that lingers and laces. The aroma emits an enchanting floral, rose, or blossom character with some apple or pear a little underneath. No booze for 9%. Medium to full body. Smooth and creamy too. A big floral, flowery taste with a hint of apple and an herbal and pepper-like finish. Just delightful.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with bubbly white head that dissipates to leave good lace. Aroma of sweet fruity Belgian esters. Taste follows, super fruity and sweet. Might age well.

Bottle (from beergium?). Pours golden with huge whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is fruity, soapy, esthery, some citrus and apples. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, fruits, citrus, lemon, malt, spicy tingle. Finish is dry bitter with some alcohol burn. Overall: well made, but no wow.

Bottle at De Spot, Middelburg. Watching Gemma Ray! Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, spices, lemon, banana, orangepeel, cloves, doughy yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, a lot of fizzy carbonation. Some cool milky feel through it. Spiced sweet finish.

Colore arancio pallido. Schiuma bianca generosa e persistente.
