I tried this beer on April 25, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a solid orangy-gold colour with a very thin white head. The aroma was that of sweet malt and some yeast. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied, and highly carbonated. The flavour was candied malt, some hoppy grapefruity hints, and a little more yeast. A very good beer.

[Nouse] Citrus, floral and bannana, in deep alcohol is present.
[Mouth] smooth body is spice, floral, alcoholic taste in deep and hops and hops and hops! a bitter long afthertaste.

Sep 15, 2008 small bottle. Pours a cloudy orange/gold with a very tall and well formed white head. I’m surpsised at the sheer amount of pepper in the aroma. I’ve noticed other similar beers suggest pepper, but this one is excedingly rich in vegetal aromas. I also get lemon, banana, and soft spices. The palate is delightfully creamy while the flavor leans more towards fruits and dry spices than in the vegetal direction. This is a very smooth and complete package. It has just a tinge of wildness and a solid fruity sweet foundation. It’s delicate, yet robust. Very well done tripel.

Sep 15, 2008 Standard tripel pour, decent head. Aroma is fruity and sweet. Taste is strawberry, banana, lovely clear hop flavour, not too dry with a pleasant sweet finish. Excellent beer.

Sep 7, 2008 Taster at The Mondial de la biere 08 in Montreal. The color is a hazy blonde with a white head. The aroma is pleasant. The taste is of malt and grapes and citrus fruits, with just a bit of hops. This is a very very good example of a tripel sbbey.
