Orange pour very neat colour, head thin back to mild froth cover,very ample carbonation.Aroma,stonefruit,malt,citrus,clove,vanilla.Flavour,ginger,clove,malt,barley sweetness throughout,a lovely mellow tasting triple,the 9% al vol is hidden by good flavours.Hints of coriander at the finish,bit of clove and ginger,like this range of ales.

Sep 3, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Gold, thick rocky head. Perfumed aroma. It’s rather a good tripel, nice strongish hop on the finish. Slight peach on aroma. Settles down into an alright tripel. I quite liked it. Decent hop on finish. Bit of hot alcohol.

Aug 28, 2008 Pours a pale hazy yellow with a two finger creamy white head. The nose was sweet, yeasty, grapes, spicy, some white pepper, cardamom, orange peel and lemongrass show as it warms. The flavor was sweet, nice spicy/yeasty character, curacao, hoppyness shows as it warms, peppery. I’d have to say this is one of my favorite tripels, very nice and very gratifying as it warms.

Aug 28, 2008 Wait a minute, Ethan just turned 21? I have been contributing to his delinquency for over a year now! Gold pour with a slight haze. Fluff white head a typical Gouden lace. Complex aroma, very fruity. Flavor is loads of fruit, malts and yeast. Well balanced and complex!

Aug 27, 2008 Bottle shared by aubreya at Milltown in honor of Ethan’s 21st bday. Congrats, bro! I didn’t take any notes on this one, but it was very nice indeed. Solid tripel with alcohol well hidden. I kind of wish I would have taken notes. Very enjoyable.
