3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 davidm (1370) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 17, 2011
Bottle 750ml. Very tasty for a light beer. Aromas of burnt caramel and citrus. Taste has a sweet start, with bitterness taking over, and average duration. Palate is oily, with a thin body. Orange, with no head.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 MBison (548) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - APR 5, 2009
Bottle (750ml). Poured orange with a small rocky, white head which was average lasting. A light aroma with notes of sweet bread, brewing cereal, hints of oranges and a squeeze of lemon. Flavor was of sweet malts with virtually no bitterness and a strong rusty/metallic finish. Light bodied with medium carbonation, a thin texture and a short length finish. Nothing memorable, but I have had much worse light beers.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 bluevegie (2930) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 15, 2008
Honey coloured body with flat looking head. Aroma is not too flash but has more taste than expected for 2.5%. Not an endearing bitterness, a bit raw.

While it takes a bit to actually get over the fact that this one is a light beer
I was not too dispaoointed with the presentation, colour and flavour of this beer. It is ok and worth a rate but there are times when you just question the need to spend good money on a beer you know will never reach great heights.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 motelpogo (5048) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 14, 2003
the oarsome foursome misled me to believe that this came in wobbling jelly. pretty decent for a light. some vanilla in the malt, apple and mildly bitter finish. pleasant
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 eczematic (1297) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2003
thought this tasted quite brown-sugary but the dude assured us that everything was maltyeastwater (and occasionally hops) only. glad he sold out and put hops in this one. crisper and bitterer than the other two, with some fruitiness in the aroma.
2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 mullet (849) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2003
Quite a bit darker than I was expecting, more copper than gold. Low carbonation with very ordinary head retention.
Aroma is quite good - malty and slightly fruity.
Flavour is OK too, pretty mild but with reasonably malt presence and solid bitterness. However the same horribly harsh bitterness that ruined their Sparkling Ale is there, albeit at a much lower level. Thin body. Considering the alcohol content of this beer I am amazed by how much flavour there is. If they fixed up the bitterness this could really be a revolutionary "light" beer. That said, it's still only an average beer.
