Scauca (260), Lovere, Italy Apr 15, 2008 On tap. Red brown with barely no head. Very strong aroma of ripe and dried fruits, caramel, toffee, little hop. Sweet but with a perfectly hidden alcohol. Hard is to hide you’ve just drank one. Really flavourful but quite challenging.
Pinball (583), Allerød, Denmark Sep 22, 2008 bottlle, bbf 2011. aroma : nice "well balanced aged-beer"(good stuff) , dark fruits, faint hops. great aroma. unclear brown with small brown head. looks aged/belgian.
flavor is a little too much dark fruits/raisins for my taste, also some sweet in there. alc is hidden. nice brew. could be a little more balanced, but imo a good attempt at what the belgians are masters of. JK54B (355), Finland Sep 6, 2008 Pale thin head. Bright copperbrown reddish colour. Round soft malty taste. Alcohol is not coming through. Slight grassiness in the taste. A decent hoppiness.
