trapez (168), Hilleroed, Denmark Apr 28, 2008 Bottle 0.66 l. Bought Kvickly Hillleroed. Brown opaque with small head. Aroma dominated by malt and hobs. Malty, malty, malty taste almost like Danish "oellebroed" and sweet as "hvidtoel".
lassem (59), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 26, 2008 Bottle 33 cl. A light brown head on this deepbrown/redish beer. A sweet and heavy nose with strong malty notes with hints of brown sugar. Its thick and fairly vinous and not very carbonated. The flavour is malty, rusty and fairly sweet with hints of liquorice and alcohol. Quikly fading finish. chris_o (4395), London, Greater London, England May 27, 2008 Bottle at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Hazy copper colour. Strong hoppy character throughout, producing a quite sharp mouthfeel. The malt is quite sweet but the sharp hop bite cuts through to produce a decent balance. I didn’t find the alcohol too intrusive. I liked this one.
Scauca (196), Lovere, Italy Apr 15, 2008 On tap. Red brown with barely no head. Very strong aroma of ripe and dried fruits, caramel, toffee, little hop. Sweet but with a perfectly hidden alcohol. Hard is to hide you’ve just drank one. Really flavourful but quite challenging. sayravai (2961), Helsinki, Finland Apr 11, 2008 (Bottled) Clear reddish-amber with a medium head. Sweetish-grainy, fruity aroma. Sweet and grainy, fruity flavor with strawberries. Medium to full-bodied with low carbonation. Quite balanced despite the sweetness. Liked the fruitiness in this one.
