COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear golden color, small white head. Fruity, orange-peely aroma. Light wheaty brew. Light papery malty flavor, some hayish and spicey notes. Dry aftertaste. Too simple and not too refreshing.

500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Crystal clear extremely pale straw colour, moderate white head. Fairly decent aroma of fruity (yes, apricots) and floral hops. The flavour is clean, crisp and refreshing with a moderate sweetness, but the hops are too moderate. The name "Blanche" makes you expect a witbier / bière blanche, but this is just another pilsener - not a bad one, but far from exciting.

05-AUG-2010, bottle @home. Very pale golden with no head. Looks like a thin pilsner, but there is a little more to it. It is a little fruity and sweet. Not much, but just enough to separate it from a pilsner. Quite refreshing and enjoyed in the sun it works just fine, but overall uniteresting.

Rating #332, bottle from Fakta

Clear light golden beer with an airy head that dissapears really quick. Immidiately, it does not give the best impression. Aroma is very clean in its impression. It is mostly marked by yeast, but hops are in there too, and malts are vaguely traceable. The taste is actually a real surprise after these impressions. Flavor is very yeasty right from the start, then a bit of hops and alcohol are taking over, before the medium bitter finish. This beer does not enchant you with a complex taste with a lot of nuances, but the the taste is nonetheless really enjoyable. At first, I rated this a 7 in taste, but as I drank the beer it became more boring, and I therefore decided to re-rate it into a 6 in flavor. The body is medium, the beer is soft, but also a bit over-carbonated. Maybe this is for the sake of the refreshing impression, as this is inargueably a very refreshing beer.

Beer is yellow with a very small head. The aroma is of perhaps a bit of flowers otherwise it reminds me most of a pilsner. The flavor has a bit of yeast notes behind the pilsner flavor.
