Blue Mountain Stout is brewed to be enjoyed together with chocolate deserts or coffee. Dark roasted beans from the worlds best coffee - Blue Mountain - together with bitter chocolate, gives the beer its complexity in aroma and flavor - that coffee and chocolate lovers love.

330 ml bottle. Black except that there are some ruby red hues at the edges. Throws a tall creamy brownish gray head that clings to the glass. Bread and yeast and a lightly roasted coffee background. Cocoa-like chocolate powder in the nose. Medium-dry powdery and lightly sour mouthfeel. Roasted flavours. Finish is is sour at first, then it turns into something more bitter. Well-done stout.

Almost black with red outlines. A dense, creamy beige head. Aroma is roasted, coffee, some toffee with a finish of chocolate. Low to medium carbonated. Sweet at first, then the coffee mixes with quite a powerful hoppyness. Again a chocolaty flavour wins out at the end.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2006 Roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. The chocolate is easily recognisable in both aroma and flavor. An easy-to-drink stout.

Bottle@Københavnske Øldage. Nice mocha and chocolate characters, with some lightly sugary notes and some sweet caramel. Feels a bit thin even though it is 6.5%, nice roasty finish.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2009 Bottled. Dark brown, almost black and with a small, tan head. Lovely roasted aroma with coffee and chocolate. The flavor is a bit disappointing, compared to what the aroma suggests, with quite weak flavor of coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. It has a full body and a roasted finish. Rating: 8-4-7-4-14-3.7. (060616)

Bottle, 66cl. It pours a dark brown body, topped by a creamy beige head. Coffee and chocolate in the aroma, very smooth. Coffeeish, roasted flavor with chocolate and just a faint bitterness. It gets a little boring actually. Smoot, dry mouthfeel, with a roasted finish. A quite nice one, but it might need something to eat to present itselves properly. (090213)
