COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blue Mountain Stout is brewed to be enjoyed together with chocolate deserts or coffee. Dark roasted beans from the worlds best coffee - Blue Mountain - together with bitter chocolate, gives the beer its complexity in aroma and flavor - that coffee and chocolate lovers love.

50 cl. bottle @ home. pours a hazy brown colour with a small white head. the aromas are weirdly metallic, some malty notes, and light coffee notes. the taste is strange, and a bit skunky. Not very stout-like. very watery.

This is close to a Catastrophe! My Favorite Coffeestout has been watered down to something indistinct. This former fine beer with it creamy think brown foam and the fine aroma of chocolate, coffee and malt and the clinging style, has been reduced to a watered out brown beer - foam is not creamy, but big-bubbled nearly white and the former strong aroma is nearly gone. The former thick black beer can now be seen through (the chestnut brown color is however beautiful, but should not be found in a stout). The buy out from the Danish Low-Cost-Beer giant Harboe did not become this GB product well - what a shame.

It smells milkchocolate, sweet and coffee. The taste is a bit roasty and sweet. Medium could be more intensiv. 10/8/9/8/10/9

Smooth aroma, a little acidic and smoky, of roasted malt with hints of fruit, apples, hops and coffee. The taste is nicely soft with notes of roasted malt, coffee and fruit. Carbonation is lively but not intrusive. Some people may perceive the flavor of this stout thin, but I think that it has a very nice soft and gentle taste. I would like to call this a "summer stout.", a dark beer that is perfect in the summer heat.!

Rostade toner av kaffe, choklad och hö. Ganska god men lätt spretig och lite vilsen. Slutsats: Godkänd, jag förväntade mig mer...

(50 cl bottle from supermarket) Pours black withe medium, toffee head, lace and some retention. Aroma is thin coffee and grainy with some minor roasted notes. Creamy on the palate, medium body, soft carbonation and a somewhat bitter, roasted finish. Taste is dark and grainy. Girlfriend says: "I like."
