COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: 200 bottles of 75 cl produced.
Danish: Denne gang er der tale om en sjælden lækkerbisken, nemlig en Baltisk Porter på 11 %, der har ligget til lagring i 10 måneder på Bourbon træfade. Mike håndtapper 200 flasker á 75 cl med korkprop, og etiketten laver han selv på en smart etiketprinter.

English: We brewed this beer in August 2007 with a lot of dark malts and molasses, fermenting it with lager yeast for over 3 months. While we were waiting we took a bourbon barrel aside and filled it with the beer straight from the fermenter. We put the barrel in a dark corner and left it until now.

Bottle bought @ the brewery. Pitch black colour, short head. Aroma of prunes, roasted malt, alcohol and some smoke. Great mouthfeel. The flavour is quite sweet with plenty of roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits, alcohol, berries, smoke and sherry/port. Sweet roasty dark fruity finish.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2009 Black with a medium beige head. Aroma had burned malt, chocolate and coffee notes, vanilla, wood and sourish notes. Flavour was sourish with burned malt, wood, vanilla, coffee, liquorice and hints of bourbon. Finished sweet and sourish.

Black with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, bourbon and coffee notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, alcohol, bourbon and coffee notes. Mild smoke notes. Warming alcohol in the end.

Plovmand (4962) - Helsinge, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2008
Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small beige head. Huge vinous aroma of prunes, brandy and chocolate. During the glass I had it evolves to dark berries. Flavour is dark fruits, chocolate, some smoke, dark berries, port and raisins. Good mouthfeel.
