harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 21, 2008 Bottle from Fotex, Copenhagen. Amber, bit of haze, thin beige head. Some toffee in this, very interesting toffee malt, and then back of the throat harsh hop. Not hugely complex, but interesting. trapez (226), Hilleroed, Denmark Sep 7, 2008 Bottle 0.66 l. Correct cloudy brown-orange colour with white head. Faint aroma from wheat and barley malt and plums. Sweet taste, low carbonation, short aftertaste. A bit dry. charlotte (1287), Vanløse, Denmark Sep 5, 2008 Hazy orange colour with large white head.Aroma of wheat, corn and flower.Flavor of bubbelgums and peach low carbonation and short finish. pilsnerrogge (1609), Finspång, Sweden Aug 27, 2008 Bottled: Pours hazy brown with a big, firm head. Yeasty aroma with notes of bananas. Favour is somewhat sourish with notes of cocoa and liquorice. There’s nothing wrong with this beer; it’s just a bit plain and simple. Pinball (593), Allerød, Denmark Aug 20, 2008 bbf 2009.01.30 66cl bottle.
aroma sort of weizen but faint and not very fresh. besides citrus and alc there is some dust or cardboard. cloudy golden (bit boring), very nice thick offwhite head. sweet, slightly citrussy, alcoholic flavor. reminds me of other danish macro breweries interpretation of weissbier(not good). without regard to style, the beer is refreshing and quite nice. its just that those germans are darn good at this type of beer.
