Bottle, Københavnske Øldage 2006. Clear amber. Slightly vinous and malty caramel aroma. Nice bitterness upfront and in the finish. Roasted malts and alcholic bitterness.

Pours a neat burnt copper with a dense, somewhat transient head, and delivers fairly well on the malt and aroma. Taste-wise, nothing outstanding by my standards, but drinkable. I’m not impressed with this brewery.

pilsnerrogge (2535) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2006
[Bottle 6.5 %] Amber coloured with a large, dense head. Fruity hop aroma with notes of liquorice. Medium bodied with a good balance between the hops and the alcohol.

Dark amber to red. Dry with tannines and a thin body. Harsh. Very harsh. And a touch of DMS on top.

Nut brown with very little white head. By appearance this looks boring but overall this is actually alright. The cascade hops makes this very pleasant - bitter, though its the only thing you can smell and taste. Finish is quite good, but again it could need a shot of something!

Bottled. They call this an American West Coast ale, but it is also closely related to an Eglish strong ale. Port-like character, balsamic vinegar and soy sauce, even. A bit flat, perhaps, a little more carbonation could have improved it slightly.

PorterCall (44) - (Formerly UK), DENMARK - MAY 30, 2006
Quite nice. Pours a nutty brown with hardly any head. Very nice hoppy flowery nose. A smooth caramel taste, medium to heavy bodied. Like a silky smooth IPA. A very nice brew but something aint right though which I can’t put my finger on!

hammenlind (737) - Sundbyberg, SWEDEN - MAY 27, 2006
Pours hazy dark amber with a thin off white head. Fresh, hoppy nose with hints of malt. Refreshing citric, hoppy flavour. Medium bodied with great bitterness. Some spicyness in finish.
