3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Picked this bottle up in Esbjerg, Denmark, Sept’ 08, consumed 08-01-09. Impressed that this Danish brewery had chosen to name a beer after me, very decent of them. Pours reddy brown in colour with a white head, Quite chocolatey, plenty of cocoa, pushy malts, even a little barley sugar. Touch sweet and caramely at times but not without its merits. Bottle, 6,5% abv. Big foamy white head leaving fine laces. Reddish-amber color. Sweet grapefruity and piney hops to the nose, also a scent of toffee. Taste is pleasant bitter-sweet, fresh citric and malty. Medium to full body. Strong piney bitterness in a long finish. A very nice one.

Bottle. Pours deep amber with a good lasting white head. Good hoppy nose with pine and fresh fruit. Flavour is quite hoppy for a GB beer and I sense caramel and pine. Good brew.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle 66cl. Clear deep amber body with medium size off white head. Lots of hops in the nose. Sweet fat body dominated by roasted malt and a hoppy aftertaste. Alcohol a bit too dominating in my point of view, but a nice beer.
