A very pleasant surprise - this beer reminds me of north bridge extreme from nørrebro bryghus, but in a toned down and more drinkable (but much less kapoww) version. I like it a lot because it is balanced and it certainly hides the 7% very well. Very tasty, very easy to drink. I’m going to get more of this while it’s on offer at the local supermarket.

Bottle. Cleat amber beer with a small offwhite head. Malty bready aroma, roasted, a little sourish, caramel, leather notes. Malty flavor, sourish, bready, caramel, vinous, some vinegar. Probably not a totally fresh bottle.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly lasting head. Orangebrown colour. Fantastic hoppy aroma, but alas it doesnt taste that well. A little watery palate. Nice try though.

Brown with tiny head. Sweet aroma with caramel and hops. Sweet flavor with hints of liquerice, caramel, and hops. Ends bitter.

faroeviking (10289) - FAROE ISLANDS - JUN 11, 2007
Bottle. Clear copper colour with an average sized creamy short lasting head. Fruity aroma of elder, grape fruit, malt and hops. The flavour is fresh, malty and bit spiced, under average sweetness with a strong bitterness from the hops. Like an American West Coast pale ale. Great brew.

madsberg (10236) - Søborg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2005
Draught @ KØ, 2005: Orange coloured. Unclear. Light brown dense head. Very hoppy and light fruity sweetness in the aroma. Some spicy notes. Flavour of hops, sugar and light malt. Floral. Is medium bodied. Ends on a floral bitterness, with medium lasting. Had it twice at the festival and find it to be a quite good brew from mister Murphy.

Maria (10164) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2007
33 cl bottle, September 05. It’s a beautiful mahogany red beer with a weak head. The aroma has notes of fruity hops and a bit of caramel. The mouthfeel is almost quite flat. The notes from the aroma are found in the flavour too, but the aroma hops kind of take the lead. the finish has a grapefruit bitterness. I would like more complexity and balance, but it’s a beer that shows promise for future brews.

courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear reddishamber colour with a persistent beige foam; aroma of red fruits and amaretto; lot of carbonation, medium-bodied, dry and bitter fruity finish with a presence of metallic notes - overpasteurized ?

660ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Danish Days 2008)
Quite dark reddy brown, small light tight persistent head. Initially hoppy fruity aroma, but as it warms it fills out with huge waves of malt. Very soft carbonation. Sweet and very malty taste. And I mean *very*. So smooth - no hint of 7%.
