COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Happy Easter is amber red with a pretty, white head. The Amarillo hops, the short dryness and lightly sweet aroma make it a perfect accompaniment to an Easter table with herrings, lamb, crisp spring herbs and of course cheese. The beer is a hybrid, a rye beer using lager yeast.

Bottled. Darkih opper to ruby beer with a thin, white and lacy head. Quite grassy/hoppy aroma with grainy malts. Light roastedness with some nuts. Dryis malty taste and woody bitterish finish with hints of toffy. Medium bodied, a bit carbonated. Sticky bitter finish.

The first "Easter" beer so far which has been good! And really good, to add to it. A very good bitter, to sum it up.

Geht in Ordnung. 6/7/7/7/7/7

At Copenhagen Oldage on 20 May 2006 (not sure whether it was on tap or from bottle). Recorded as Haandbryggeriet Happy Easter in my notebook but I guess that was just sloppy work on my part due to the rather advanced stage of the evening. Darkish amber colour. Sweetish, dull malt. A bit doughy. Mainly caramel in the flavour. Not much hop in evidence. Palatable but didn’t do much for me.
