COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Harvest Ale består af to bryg.

Bottled. Light amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light beige head. Prunes and raisins in the nose. Woody and spicy notes. Flavour of caramel, spice, ripe fruits and light alcohol. Medium bodied. Quite smooth and balanced. Ends on a fruity note, with alcoholwarmth on lips and palate. Good one. Thanks to Thomas_E for sharing.

2006 Vintage. Cloudy dark brown beer. Softish dry palate. Rich malt, aged tasting but smooth and tasty and not tired. A little chocolate and quite bit of aniseed spice from the not too well hidden alcohol. Finishes dry and a little alcoholic. Okay.

Bomber, 2006 vintage, #5584 of 6000, BB 10/2/2009. Poured a lovely shade of rich English toffee topped by a dusting and a loose-bubbled ring of off-white head.. not necessarily a pretty pour, but I like how it presented itself. The aroma carried forth a surprising amount of hops, considering the age, with earthy notes joining brown sugar, vanilla, and drawn caramel.. just a little prickly, peppery alcohol on the edges.. bright and engaging. The flavor took a couple steps back, but was still alright.. lightly toasty redder fruits showed up and joined the same caramel as the nose and some molasses at the core.. bright oaky notes, bitter earth, and vanilla bean surrounded.. finished with a tasty array of malts and warmth, but there was a touch of metallic character that detracted a little. Heavier-bodied with low, but tight carbonation.. sharper and hotter than I’d like, but still a decent overall feel.

Bottle. Weak undefinable aroma. Golden dark amber colour with small white head. Bitter flavour, alcohol and a bit of grain which just jusities the title harvest brew.
