(Bottled, 0.75l, BBE 01/2010) Blood red color with a small head. Sweetish, caramely-malty nose with raisins, plums, and spiciness. Flavor is sweetish and very malty, dried-fruity and anise-spicy. Lots of licorice when warm. Medium to full body with smooth, low carbonation. I can imagine, that this is too sweet ans spicy when young, but now - almost 1,5 years after the BBE - it feels delicious and balanced. 6247

Bottle. Pours a dark burgundy head with a large offwhite head. The aroma is malt and spices with coriander. The flavor is malt and spices. The palate is sweet. Overall too many spices and an average beer.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel on a malty back ground. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of spices - especially coriander on a malty back ground.

It is red mahogany with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of dark fruits, roasted malt, caramel, spice, rubber and ginger. The sweet flavor has notes of roasted malt, dark fruits, caramel, spice and the finish has a touch of peppery ginger. It’s quite harmonic.
