COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. (bought at SuperBest) Nice. Refreshing. Fruity. in my mind, what would happen if you mixed a pilsner with a whitebeer. Not bad - but neither remarkable. Very Drinkable.

Had this beer on tap in a bar in Copenhagen over Easter break. Pours a golden hue with a small 1 finger head that settles into a nice lacing as it goes down. Aroma is all pine and hops-very clean and smells great. Hops is present mostly throughout but doesnt seem to be as dominant as the smell would suggest. Nicely balanced with some grapeftruit bitter tones and some light floral tastes. It went down nice and I really enjoyed it as it wasn’t heavy or too-full bodied but full of taste. This could be a session hoppy beer for me for the future-I would recommend it and will definitely try it again.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2008 66 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense and light orange coloured head. Sweet caramel and grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavoured, medium dry malty flavour. Ends rather dry with a soft fruityness. Not as wellbalanced as promised on the label.

Tasted 2008-01-31. Pours clear, orange with big off white head. Aroma: Light hoppy, not much. Flavours: Like a hoppy pilsner – unimpressing, but not bad; OK!

sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 28, 2008
(Bottled) Slightly hazy golden with a small, partly lasting head. Very fresh and crisp, pine-hoppy and lemony aroma with some toffeeish maltiness. Smoothly toffee-malty, aromatic-hoppy, slightly honeyish flavor with smooth bitterness all the way. Medium-bodied with balanced carbonation. A lovely, tasty and smoothly hoppy session beer, that seems way underrated here.
