pilsnerrogge (1609), Finspång, Sweden Jul 27, 2008 Bottled: Pours clear amber with a creamy head. Sweetish hoppy peach- and pine aroma. Flavour is...well, piney, hoppy resinous pine. Maybe a bit one dimensional but still quite tasty. Monkeypower (37), Odense C, Denmark Jul 20, 2008 Amber with a solid, lasting head. Peach aroma and a fine hoppy flavour with citric and fruit notes. caesar (2573), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Jul 15, 2008 Bottled. Slight hazy amber color, short head. Aroma of hop, some dry pine forest, caramel malt. Bit bitter and sweet taste. Average brew. skortila (2433), Bunnik, Netherlands Jul 15, 2008 Bottled. Aroma has hops, caramel malts. Hazy, copper-amber coloured with a thin head. Taste is bit sweet, slightly bitter. It has caramel and some citrus. Not much pine there. With a name like this one expects more. At least more pine. :-)
