chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Sep 21, 2007 Draught at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Hazy amber colour. The aroma is more Belgian than IPA - lots of spicy, yeasty notes with some estery fruit n the background. The citric hops come through more strongly on the palate but there’s plenty of fruit in evidence too. Interesting experiment. The Belgian element is the slightly dominant partner. Very tasty.

duff (5405), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Jul 31, 2006 Draught@Københavnske Øldage. An odd beast, and one that didn’t really work for my taste. Lots of orange rind acidity and bitterness, with a slightly spicy, yeasty character, quite flowery. I just thought it wasa little bit all over the place. Theis (2041), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 27, 2006 Tasted at Københavnske øldage 2006. Orange/ red - off-white head. I got, A lot of hop, flowers, malty, yeast, strange sour taste, spice... too wierd fo rmy tastes. Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 9, 2006 A hazy orange beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with a distinct flower character. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes from the yeast, but also with light notes of hops, leading to a short lived bitter finish.
