Apparence: La couleur est orange voilée avec une moyenne densité de bulle. Présence d’un moyen col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de levure, d’houblon et d’épices. Feb 24, 2007 Bomber shared with lunch guests, who could not distinguish this from other Belgian yeasty beers. A bit on the sweet side, with great foamy head, creamy mouthfeel and cloudy golden body. Aroma is pepper and some spice, which stays on the palate. Nciely balanced. Satisfying and only mdoerately drying mouthfeel.

Feb 21, 2007 Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells sugary with some hoppy citrus undertones. Taste is peppery with some underlying maltiness. Fair for what it is.

Feb 19, 2007 pours a dark cloudy yellowish gold with a one finger fluffy white head. aroma is of bread and lemon with a touch of alcohol and hops. has a light to medium body with nice lacing. flavor is bread, lemon, and a little alcohol. has some spiciness to it as well and has some nice carbonation to it. a pretty nice tripel! as it warms the bread aroma and flavor gets stronger and some grain aroma and flavor comes out. feels silky, fluffy, and full on the palate. pretty good.

Feb 19, 2007 Updated: Mar 8, 2007Pours a deep, thick amber with dark, sandy particulate. A fluffy head leaves a fat halo and sticky lace. Aroma finds light florals and some sharp cheese to a base of fruity yeast. Nice body. Thick flavor finds ripe fruits carried by sweet malts. An equal amount of sugars and bitters in the finish. Big yet well-balanced... which are good qualities for a "giant".

Feb 15, 2007 Pours cloudy yellow/amber with a large white head that fades slowly to a thin ring leaving decent lacing. Spicy phenols w/ a floral hop boquet. Taste is yeasty spice with a clean hop bitterness. A little alcohol warmth but not overbearing. Finish is a little sweet. Overall a decent triple.

The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by an medium off-white head. Some bottles had a lot of particles, some didn’t
In long: This is a simple, somewhat brutal beer that does not offer much more than a little slap on the palate. 9% is very apparent, honeyed malts sweetness on the attack with a caramel finish. Very yeasty. Fruity notes of ripe bananas and ripe pineapples. Limited hops presence. Not bad, just a total lack of complexity. Really simple beer that has all the class, refinement and sophistication of the dude of the label.
