This is a nice & spicy brown ale. It has a deep mahogany body with a good sized tan head. The aroma is rich and malty with scents of dark caramel and milk chocolate along with a subtle touch of pine and grapefruit. The PNW hopping is more noticeable in the flavor, blending smoothly with a the sweet malt, chocolate, and peppery rye spiciness. It finishes with an earthy bitterness mingled with malty sweetness. Nice drink.
