On tap at the brewpub. This is now 7.2%, and done with Achouffe yeast. I assume it could now be called a Belgian strong ale. The body was dark gold with a white colored head. The aroma was toasted and nutty. There was also some fruity apple core. The taste was smooth and light with some bread crust. There was a little bit of a banana finish. Interesting.

Drinkable enough for a style that rarely thrills me. It’s a bright yellow ale with a frothy head that does some dandy lacing. The aroma hold soft malts, a drop of honey, and a wheaty scent that becomes more prominent as the drink warms. The flavor reflects the aroma and a light citic zest bitterness is added to the finish. Okay.
