COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This reddish-gold American Pale Ale is medium bodied and very bitter and full of citrus tines due to the whole Cascade hops used to dry hop this ale. This is reminiscent of a west coast ale, with its flavors and aromas of citrus and hops. 4.6% ABV, 1.057 O.G., SRM 6.7, IBU 67

Lightly hazed, medium-copper/orange. A slight ring on top with a tiny island of white film. Weak hopcit in aroma, which comes out better in the flavor. There is some adversity with notes of sour milk. Bitter orange in flavor... more like orange rind rather than anything akin to grapefruit. Subtle, bitter leanings throughout. Thin but enjoyable mouthfeel with bitters lingering for a long while.

This is well-classified as an APA and may be one of my favorite offerings from Govnor’s. I only wish they would brew it as a "mainstay" rather than a oft-recurring "special".

Copper in color with a very thin quickly discipating white head. The nose is hoppy and crisp and the taste is just about the same with hints of cream here and there. Overall I liked this quite a bit but as this thing warmed up it kind of developed a funk to it that I couldnt really put my finger on.

Clear bronze with a creamy white rung for the head. Sweet floral hop aroma with wafts of roses, lavender, honey, musk, sugar sprinkled grapevines and cantaloupe. Creamier than expected. Hops break out of the gate first but recede with no malt to fall back on. More or less an IPA (64 IBUs) with too little contributions in the caramel malt department. Dry, clean finish.

i only had a sample of this, actually. it’s definitely strong in flavor--flowers flowers flowers, along with the flower... bed! -cough-dirt-cough- and my notes had some scribbling in it i couldn’t decipher, but it turns out i kinda like this brew. interesting.
