COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our English Extra Special Bitter (ESB) is very dark in color, with a full body. The ale possesses a very clean nose of crisp hop aromas, with caramel tones and hoppy bitterness balanced by rich malt flavors. This ale has a rich, long, and pleasantly bitter hop finish.

Served as a dark reddish/brown with nary a head. Nutty malts and light coffee notes in the aroma. Thin-bodied with EKG hops and a tea-like persona. Highly sessionable. As it warmed, my wife and I warmed up to it and it became our growler choice for the evening.

Very drinkable chestnut bodied ale. The aroma is dominated by the malt, caramel with a touch of toffee, and a light, pome touch. Smooth drinking, the light herbal hop bitterness doesn’t come through until midway into the tasting. Very mildly bitter finish. Okay.

Clear kind of dark amber in color with no head and a thin nose with some grains and barley. Thin. The taste was farily mild initially with grains and some barley. As the beer warmed it became much more bitter but not the hops kind of biitter. It reminds me a lot of Fullers ESB but less funky and more clean. Very drinkable and pretty good overall. Im glad my wife ordered a full pint because the sample that was first brought to us really did not do this beer justice.
