On tap @ NBF. The aroma has liquorice and laurel, some coffee, little roast. Hazy, very dark brown coloured beer with an off-white, thin head. The taste is a little bitter, has some sweetness, liquorice, some coffee. relative thin bodied. Tends to an English style pubstout.

Somewhat hazy dark yellow color, dissapointing non-existing foam. Not too sweet, caramel and somewhat bitter. Nice smell. (Velp, 201204)

Unclear light medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, butter notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, toffee - fudge, strawberry - strawberry stoue. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120304]

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, milk chocolate and a hint of yeast in the aroma. malty sweetish, slight roasty flavor with notes of caramel and licorice. Yeasty notes and pear coming up in the finiah. Decent beer, I’d call it a sweet stout.

Had this one @ Nijmeegse Bierfeesten Festival 2010. Black colored brew. Laural in the aroma. Flavor has coffee, licorice, laural, some sourness, bad bitterness. Not ok.

A little hazy, dark red/brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of caramel malts with some hops and fruits. The taste has some bitterness with fruits. Caramel notes. It’s a little watery. It has almost no aftertaste, a little sweet.
