Decent bready yeast aroma, rather attractive. Surprisingly free of skunk. Slight hazy appearance, otherwise ubiquitous pale yellow amercan lager in appearance. Has a decently clean flavor with little hop bitterness. Non offensive an well mannered. Good amount of average fizz in the carbonation, but could use more. Finish is easy to enjoy, perhaps a nice session brew. Best premium lager to date for me.

Oct 2, 2008 bottle. has a bit of a pine aroma. clear yellow in color with a qucik dissolving head. has a bit of a nutty taste with very little aftertaste.

Sep 16, 2008 (330 ml bottle from Bootlegger’s) Pours hazy gold with a big pillowy white head. Aroma is a bit honeyish and malty with some pine, dishrag and sweat. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth, slightly prickly with a decent amount of heft. Lots of foamy patches of lacing. Flavor is lightly honeyish and malty with a light-medium bitter presence emerging toward finish. Not a bad lager.

Aug 5, 2008 Pours to a glowing flat yellow body with a tall, lasting frothy white head. Nice lacing. The aroma is very strong and smells of hops that are floral and honeysuckle like. Some dry yeasts. Smells kind of like a Kolsh. Some straw. The flavor is clean and crisp lager yeasts and floral hops. A touch watery. The palate is sweet, clean, easy drinking. Bitter on the finish. Slightly mouthwatering. Nicely made and an easy summer beer. I don’t see how so many people are hating on this one.

Jun 29, 2008 POured a weak golden color with a white head. Aroma of corn and malt. Taste is much the same, not too much to say here.
