COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A new melody like a tune floating in the starry sky, to add to the ancient story of fermentation, a story as old as man himself. Cantus Caeli (Sky Song) is a completely new type of beverage, skillfully crafted from a blend of the oldest brewing elements: Malt beverage with honey and grapes and matured in oak barrels.

Ingredients: water, honey (38%), barley malt, grape wort, yeast, hop.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Hazy dark amber color; flat and with no head. The aroma is acidic, with acetone and some chemicals. Oily mouthfeel; light caramel flavor, high acidity, unfortunately also acetone; dryish and astringent final, with some yeast traces.
A complete mess; grossly overpriced; this should not even be professionally sold.

Grape aromas. Absolutely no carbonation. Grape, raisin, honey flavors. Very acidic. Overall a very interesting concept.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2012 2012.07.08 - 1pt .9oz bottle at ChurchKey DC. Labeled a braggot on their bottle menu, this seems much more like a fruit beer or similar to something like Noble Rot. Very fruity aroma and taste quite like wine but not as dry. Too wine-like for me but you have to try some things when you have the chance.
