16.9 oz bottle. My girlfriend found this at some random liquor store in Ohio. This beer pours completely flat with a reddish orange body with flakes of rust. Aroma of honey, mild vinegar, smoke. Some grapes. Flavor is sweet, with fluctuations of honey and grape juice, mild apple notes. There is apparent oak and caramel. There is an overall tartness, mild smokiness. Some wet wool and horseblanket. As well as a funky earthiness along with white wine notes. No carbonation. Medium bodied. One of the most interesting beer experiences I’ve had.

Bottle. Copper pour with no head. Aroma is very wine-like with sweet malt, grape skins, wet oak, honey and spice notes. Taste is sweet as well with more spice, alcohol, oak, damp earth, grape skins, wine, honey (mead) and caramel. Body is light-medium with no carbonation. Very still and slick feel. Ends with more boozy notes, caramel, sweet malt, ripe fruit, honey, light spice, wine, grape skins, wood and wet leather. More of a mead crossed with a white wine than a beer.
