Courtesy CaptainCougar. Pours a dark brown, with a small off white head. Smells of bubblegum, some spice, a little funk, and some clove. Alot of unique things going on in the aroma. The flavor has alot of that clove and bubblegum with some mint chocolate flavors, that really only show up in the taste. Really interesting experience with all the uncommon things i was finding in this brew.

Dark brown colour, with an off-white head. Lots going on in aroma here. Up front is cocoa, then tar, bit of vanilla and some notes of whiskey. No coffee was sensed here. Flavour brings more coffee, it appears like green pepper. Edges of vanilla and whiskey. Bit alcohol shows off, but the thorough flavour profile, and the flavours stays long after, reminds me pretty much of Mikkeller Beer Geek Brekfast.

My 2,000th rating!!
Pours a beautiful deep deep brown ruby-red. On top sits a medium creamy beige head that leaves good lacing on my glass. The head stays for the duration of my sample. Aroma is sweet, first giving a fruity impression of apples before heavy cocoa notes take me into chocolate-land. Mouthfeel is a little thin (which might be the beer’s only downfall). Medium carbonation. The initial flavour is wheaty sweet and rather mild with slight chocolate tones. But the aftertaste is to die for!. Plums, belgian sugars and so much cocoa that I could taste the beer two hours later - even having sampled two others in the meantime. Wonderful!

Very good yellowish-brown head over dark brown beer. Chocolate powder aroma, alcohol and very dry smelling. More chocolate in the taste; dry-bitterish, dark chocolate, some wheat flour flavour. A bit powdery MF, medium bodied, velvety, very pleasing. Strange but excellent tasting beer; the additions evident on the palate, pity about the powderiness.
