500ml bottle at Maxs. Deep orange-black. Rim lacing beige head. Pronounced sweet chocolate dessert aroma, not roasty. Tastes overly sweet, very brownie like. Hardly a world class product....chocolate syrup. OK maybe, but definitely not worth a premium price.

Kosmokrator (800) - ITALY - MAR 25, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 11, 2014 Color marrone scuro lievemente torbido con pannosa schiuma beige. Dolciastra, profumata, speziata, leggermente cioccolatosa; gusto vellutato, note di frutta sciroppata, caramello, erbe aromatiche e un tocco legnoso. Corpo medio, effervescenza quasi nulla, struttura oleosa. Particolare, ma non mi ha fatto impazzire.

Draft at the Birch. The aroma is sweet like ice cream. And this drinks with a distinct dessert character -- sweet yet earthy and a little gritty. Lighter in body than I expected. (#4812, 11/3/2012)
