| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 30, 2008 Dark brown with a thin lid of milk tan bubbles. Charred fruit, sweet aromatic woods, dark cherries, dates and a hint of creosote in the nose. Interesting, but not overly pleasant. smoke and ashes fill the mouth from the start. Some mild vinous qualities, I happen to be reminded of an old bottle of cab with a dry cork. Some nibs, elderberries and choke cherries also creep in. LIght soft palate. Very earthy and course.
