COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First (and maybe only, as of 2006) beer in Piedmont and probably in Italy brewed with self-made malts (made form locally grown barley), an old dream that came true. Dark amber with copper shades, it is inspired by the Dusseldorf seasonal Alt Sticke by Uerige

Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (Thanks F.B.!) Slightly hazy reddish amber colour with small off-white head. Yet a rather lively beer. Aroma is citrus fruits, some dark dry fruits as well as mild caramelly notes. Flavour is wood, fruits, mild earth, some yeastyness as well as mild hay and grass.

0.75 l bottle at Helsinki Beer Festival. Dark amber color, very foamy. Caramelly and fruity aroma. Caramelly and nutty flavor with papery dry hops and hint of plastic. Initially sweet, finishes dry and bitter. Carbonation is too high.

Brown, big tan head - an ice cream float. Some roasty, almost coffee aroma. Carbonation pleasant, lots of fruity retronasals - bubblegum too. Soft palate, slightly plastic. Nuttiness and some wood present, and the finish heads towards walnut. A touch stodgy perhaps, but a nice alt. (6:4:6:4:13=3.3)
Rerate: (6:4:6:3:11=3.0)
750ml bottle (OPP, HBF2010)
6 Big fruity hoppy aroma
4 Pale brown, no head
6 Taste follows aroma very closely, gives nothing more
3 Slightly sticky, but had bottom of bottle
11 Maybe worth revisiting.
