(bottle) Hazy, brown colour with a fluffy, off-white foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted wheaty malty aroma with notes of caramel, dried fruits and vanilla. Moderately sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Wheaty and shy toasty taste with berries and a tinge of dried fruits, caramel and vanilla; slightly sourish fruity and wheaty finish. Decent (13.VIII.09).

It’s unclear, dark golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, yeast, wheat and fruit. The sweet flavor has the same notes and a touch of licorice.

Draught: Chocolatey-amber coloured, floaties visible, cloudy, stable off-white head; toasty caramelly and citrussy nose with a moderate yeasty touch; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; citrussy-sourish finish with a chocolatey-bitter aftertaste. O.K., not overwhelming....

Világos vörösesbarna szín, belül szépen gomolygó élesztő felhővel. Habja bézs színű, termetes, tejszínhab szerűen krémes és nagyon életképes. Illata kissé visszafogott, karamellás,banános és citrusos és élesztős. Íze zöld citromos, enyhén banános, csokoládés, pörkölt búzamalátás, igen érezni benne az élesztőt és enyhén egy csipet komlót. Nem túl testes és közepesen szénsavas. Utóíze fanyar, gyümölcsös, élesztős és kissé száraz és sós. Könnyen iható barna búza, de nekem a hell jobban ízlett.

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and bread, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle. Toffee malt and light banana aroma. Cloudy medium brown color with nice head. Light sweet toffee malt and banana flavor. Body on the light side. Okay - nothing bad but just wish flavor came out more.

Bottle. It pours a murky brownish body under a minimal off-white head. Butterscotch, some lemon, wheat notes and a little caramel in the aroma, which is quite weak. Slightly lemony flavor with some butterscotch and caramel. Some bitterness too. Banana and some caramel in the finish. Medium body, dry and very effervescent. Where the helles weisse is quite nice, this one wasn’t very succesful I think. Still, it’s sure drinkable. 091022

Murky brown coloured, medium sized off-white head, yeasty nose with touch of banana. Very fruity (banana dominates), slight caramellish and light wheaty with notes of cloves and vanilla. Short sweet finish. Very refreshing and nice dunkelweizen.
