MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - JAN 31, 2012
(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a blond and dense mid-sized foamy head. Mildly sweet cara-malty aroma with a tinge of bread and subtle citric hops. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Smooth cara-malt-character, minimally bready taste with herbal and subtle fruity hops; sweet-bitter malt-accented and delicately hoppy finish. Not bad, otherwise an inoffensive German Festbier. 31.XII.11

Bottle (donated by Quack-Duck!): Moderate to solid malty-honeyish nose with delicate caramelly-toasty traces, golden to deep golden, mid-sized white head; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft; some aromatic hops and a certain malty sweetness in the well balanced finish. Fine Festbier…

bottle from Getränke Fleischmann Wörth a.d. Isar/Niederaichbach. Clear golden with a medium head. Medium-bodied, intensively malty with a pleasant hoppy start, quite aromatic. Lingering finish with aromatic hops. Very pleasant Festbier.

Süßlich würziger Getreideantrunk, mittelstark gehopft. bleibend, harmonisch, etwas zu süß vielleicht. Der Hopfen versiegt langsam. Im Abgang etwas wässrig, malzig-getreidig, etwas klebrig. Test vom 13.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,9,7,11,8 - 8,25

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Starts very, very spicy, almost a bit too much. The finish is also quite sweet so that the beer tastes pulpy. Not my favourite.

from beerangel.de - clear golden colour with a white head; gentle aromatic hoppiness, quite malty, clean palate and quite full-bodied; decent bitterness with a long malty and peanutty finish - solid

Standard lager colored with little vanishing white head. Cardboardy aroma with some hops, sweet fruits also present. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar with sweet fruity start, aftertaste has mild alcohol with this papery note also. Some European strong lager maltiness in here, still alcohol percentage is not too high.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Hannu N and Timo A! Deep golden color with creamy head. Malty honeyish aroma with hint of lemon, sulphur and herbal hops. Sweetish, honeyish, lemony and herbal flavor with medium bitterness and some alcohol tartness in the finish. Rounded mouthfeel.

Bottled (from beerangel.de). Golden colour, mediumsized white head, that leaves nice lace. Aroma is grass, some hops, mild notes of paper as well. Flavour is malts, hops and some caramel. Also mild alcoholsweetness making it a quite fullpalated beer. As it warms up it gets some slight fruity notes as well.
