0,5 l bottle shared with McTapps. Surprisingly refreshing and nice aromatic alt. Maybe a bit sweet but with some malt in the background. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Great taste of roasted nuts and lightly caramell, but unfortunately a very copper-like finish.

500 ml bottle. Bought it for 9 euro-cents. It’s doesn’t taste extraordinarily well, but for that price, one really can’t complain. It’s still far better than most Kölschs.

Koelschtrinker (10837) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 23, 2011
Wenig herber Antrunk, Malzanteile sind vorerst rar. Sie werden später stärker, bleiben aber am unteren Ende des Machbaren. Karg hopfig, etwas trocken. Zum Ende röstig-würzig, zu trocken. 8/7/8/8/6/8

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, moderately sweet malty aroma with veggie notes and metallic hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied. Slightly toasty malt-character with caramel and grassy hops; mildly toasty and hop bitter finish with an obvious metallic touch. Probably brewed in Krefeld. 14.VI.10
