0,5 l can, bought in a Lidl.
Poured murky peach with a stable and delicious off white head. Moderated aroma of fruits and spicies like cinnamon and clove, lemon, some citruses and banana. Nice start in the flavor with grainy and bready tastes, some fruity and caramel but after a while some artifical feeling comes and destroy the surpries. But better than expected...

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2009 5.0% cloudy gold with a thin head, normal weissbier aroma, taste is bitter citrus but slightly lacking in body although still very nice. Good Hefe weissbier from Germany, had it in a recyclable Plastic bottle last time, beer is very good and cheap as well. I have read reviews that put this beer down just because it is cheap, well it is a lot better than many expensive beers.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting quantity not wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and evenly of structure. The beer also contained not much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick dark blond color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is light hoppy bitter with a light citrus touch. This beer smells yeasty.

Bottled. Cloudy golden, rich head. Sweaty papery banana aroma. Sweet and unfirm. medium, bofied with loads of cardboard and sugar. Papery finish. Another reason not to buy anything on Lidl, or indeed anything where Oetker group is involved.

5L keg from Lidl. Muddy orange with a fine persisting white lid. Aroma of shortbread, banana, toffee apple, peppery hints. A bit stale and papery with watery esters, grainy cardboard stillness, banana and grassy hop hints. Grass and cardboard afters. Fairly poor industrial hefe, past its best, but drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2009 From plastic bottle at a tasting, thanks zvikar. Murky orange with a small but stable head. Strong overpowering yeasty aroma with some mushrooms, quite dry with stale bread and a touch of orange and some sweetness creeping in the back. Bad skunky aftertaste. A bad weizen with nearly no classic weizen attributes.

From bottle at a tasting, hazy orange with nice off-white head, cheesy aroma with banana some orange and some yeast, body is light, alcohole can be sensed, well-carbonated with some banana flavor some acidity and some clove notes, drinkable but had better hefeweizen.
