Can from Lidl, Budapest. Hazy yellow-orange colour, with white head that disappeared quickly. Yeasty aroma with some banana, but a bit unpleasant. Taste is sweet, with banana. Little bit metallic. Nothing spectacular, but at least its cheap, and still better than some of the so called ’premium’ beers here in Hungary.

500 ml can, from Lidl, Ikast. ABV is 5.0%. Cloudy pale greyish-yellow colour, large to moderate white head. The aroma has "unfresh" and unpleasant notes of cooked vegetables, also rotting vegetables and fruits, the normal h.w. notes of banana and cloves are only there in the background. The flavour is better than the aroma, not too sweet and fairly refreshing, with moderate notes of cloves and hints of citrus and banana. The body is thin and rather watery. Apparently it is a principle for Lidl not to stock any really GREAT beers, so enjoy it if you can..

Poured a cloudy amber with a think white head. The aroma is a little yeasty with loads of banana. The flavour is watery, with a little citrus fruit, The palate is very weak and lacks any kind of flavour. Not a classic.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml PET bottle from Lidl in Munich. Pours a cloudy orange colored body with a two finger-width, foamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate soapy lacing. Aroma has a light wheat malt sweetness, some yeast, banana, and a bit of a clove spice. Flavor is similar. Some yeasty spice and clove phenols throughout with a bit of a banana ester fruitiness and a lightly sweetened, somewhat grainy wheat malt backing. Finishes clean and somewhat dry before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Medium, smooth body and a soft, somewhat active carbonation. Overall, this is definitely not a great hefe, but it’s not that bad for the price. Easy drinking, smooth, and fairly enjoyable.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hazy lemon ish pour. Medium to bigger sized, vast white creamy head. Changes slowly into a thicker creamy white lacing on top of a murky muddy (like those Peruvian drinks) somewhat brighter yellow colored beer.
Aroma of yeast, wheat, bread, vanilla porridge, rice pudding, glue, dough and thick cream.
Flavours of banana, yeast, wheat, light bitter, dough, something malty, rice, herbs and light dry.
Aftertaste is a mix o wheat, malts, bitters and floral with a sprinkle of banana yeast.
Low carbo, start with a watery mouthfe but turns into a more creamy mouthfeel, low to medium body and a light watery texture.
Strange smell (wasn’t to fond if it), quite a mediocre taste and a decent aftertaste. Bit unbalanced I guess...

White airy head on top of a hazy yellow orange body.
Smell wheat, fruit (orange, banana), sugars, spices, sweet malts and card board.
Taste is sweet fruity, bit watery with spices, malts, yeast and wheat.

500 ml can, from Lidl supermarket in the Netherlands. Poured into a weizen glass. ABV is 5%, inredients are water, barley malt, wheat malt, yeast, hops extract.
Colour is very hazy orange, sort of light honey-lke. From the little I can see in the glass, there is little activity in it, On top of the beer sits a white, soapy, three fingers tall head with good retention, which leaves some very light lacing behind.
Not much on the aroma, sugars, lots of wheat and light banana bread. Pleasant though.
Tatse is dull and faint. Some traces of wheat flavour, but that’s all. Pretty boring.
Medium on the body, with light to average carbonation.
Overall, what can I say, maybe it would be nice on a hot summer day, but then again I doubt it, there are plenty of other mediocre beers out there with at least some taste.

Can, 500 ml, this is made for Lidl supermarkets.
Hazy, non transparent, dark yellow colour with a two finger head. Quickly dissolved into a 1/4 of a finger. Aroma is of fruits, green apples maybe? A bit of caramel too..Taste is also sweet and fruity.
Very thin in body, almost watery with very light carbonation.
It would score higher if it wasn’t for the light body.
