1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2006 New review:
4.8%, brewed by Oettinger in Gotha
Ooh... this was one of the first beers I’ve had during the very beginning of my ticker faze, in Spain. Well... we got a Lidl here recently, and I got to try it again, and write a better review. It’s pretty much exactly as I wrote... poured a nice yellow going gold colour, with a medium sized white heap of bubbles that disappeared quickly. Very fizzy, but it calms down soon enough. Smells remarkably nice... a fresh malty smell. The taste is very watery, dull, not all that interesting, maybe hoppy, a touch lemony, but not pleasant... The fact that it’s watery is a boon actually... if it had a more pronounced taste, it’d rate even lower. Thankfully no aftertaste. Below average industrial lager. +1 aroma, -1 palate.... and I’m being quite generous.
An underaverage, boring pils, watery and bland. Seen it only in 0.33 cans. That was too much, I bought two, and both survived almost untouched the night before we left Spain. That, and half of a bottle of some Spanish n/a someone bought by accident.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
One of the more popular Lidl products in Poland. Reason price. Pours pale gold brew with medium - small head . Thin , some light malt , light cheap bitter medium . Cheap beer, not only because it cost 1.5 zloty.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Yellow color with big bubbled head. Aroma not very much of a "normal" hoppy pils. Flavor has some surprising sweetness in start, again something that I’m not used to have in pilsener. Hops come out slightly, although more of it could have made this beer much better. Little above standard Finnish lagers, but not anything special.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A cheap rather thin pils
with not a lot to offer.Quite highly carbonated with a malty flavour that doesn’t last for long.Tastes like what it is -a cheap pils for taking of a cheap supermarket shelf.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pretty similar to the Fink brau as well from Lidl. And as well cheap. Not very interesting.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2006 (Canned, 4.5% ABV) Paleish golden color with a small, nicely lacy head. Mildly toffee-malty, biscuity and pils-hoppy aroma. Grainy-malty, slightly buttery-hoppy flavor with a bitter, but quickly fading finish. Oily and carbonated, light-bodied palate. A cheap, but quite bearable (at least it’s somewhat hoppy!) bulk lager.
