50 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a slowly collapsing, white and creamy head. Light dusty grain to cardboard aroma. Flavour is medium sweet cornish. Mild and slight sweet finish with almost no to vague bitterness. Below stanard pilsner but for the price it is better than many other discount pilsners available in Denmark.

Canned. A golden beer with a huge bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a slight skunky note. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of grain and a dry bitter finish where the grain note lingers. Plain.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2006 (Can 50 cl) Pilsener golden with a nice, white head which collapses rather fast though. Primarily this is a very hoppy lager with a somewhat watery body. I suspect these bitter discount lagers to overdose the bittering hops in order to hide the fact, that they don’t use decent malts. From LIDL Rhodes. 270905

Canned. Yellow golden, big white head. Bittersweet aroma (in a horrible way). Malty taste with hops in the finish. Wellbalanced, but could do with more carbonation.

Canned, from Lidl UK. Bright golden, brief head. Sweet and neutral, light bodied, low bitterness. A very simple beer not providing any enjoyment.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2011 Can. (ABV 4.7%) Pale, golden beer with a white head. Aroma is mostly hoppy and grassy, with only a hint of malt. Flavor is mostly grassy and hoppy, but light. Bitter finish. Watery body, I don’t think the beer gets better by being watered down to comply to Norwegian rules. A beer for people who don’t care. Rating: 3-2-3-2-6-1.6. 060222

Can. It’s a clear, golden beer with a lasting, small, white head leaving lacings. The aroma is grainy and sweet with fruityness. Something reminiscent of alcohol too. The flavor is almost lacking, there’s fruits and some grains, but very, very little bitterness. Thin on the palate, semi-sweet. Short, fruity and grainy finish. A super boring beer I hope I don’t end up drinking again, even though it’s not very bad. 101027

Can from Lidl. Pours clear, very light yellow-gold with a fading, white head. Grain and mild metal in the nose, some mild flowers. Flavor isn’t too bad, lightly sweet with some sugar, dried cereal, faint, floral hops. Light to medium in body with a dense, creamy carbonation I don’t often encounter. Crisp and mostly clean to finish with some pleasant, earthen bitters, coupled with lightly sugary grain and cracker malts. Not altogether bad but a bit bland. The density of the beer, the creaminess seems to mask something. Hmm. Anyway, definitely drinkable.
